You see, for me I feel that Xampp serves my purpose for testing and developing multiple single sites of wordpress projects without the complications of underlying apache permission settings and configurations. This scenario plays out very well on my Windows machine but I have yet to try it out on my Linux. Having troubleshoot many setup scenarios, I've also moved on to picking up hands on knowledge on coming up to speed with delivering a website using wordpress. I did this with also being weary of customizing the WordPress through dashboard configuration features and also through a more advance approach of Php code template editing. Overall, I am proud of what I have achieved. I have also manage to use Dal's FCS site (one that is provided for each student) as a testbed for my first so called official website which I have created. That is none other than for the Dalhousie Malaysian Society. What's more I've done that with a WordPress multisite setup. Of course it didn't start out that way. I started with a singlesite setup and moved upwards from there.
Lots of things that I have learned, just hope that I have the time to write it down somewhere. Anyways, the journey has only started. I need to do more before I can go out into the open and provide professional services for others.
